1 Player: You vs. the computer's secret number.
You vs AI: You and Unit 5 take turns on the same number, sharing every clue. First to crack it wins. Unit 5 chats in five words or fewer; tap Mute to hide it.
Gauntlet: Five numbers in a row, all or nothing. Points per number: 500 on guess 1, then 50, 10, 5 and 1. Miss one and the run ends with nothing.
Watch: Ember and Jade, two AIs, race each other while you watch.
Tournament vs AI: Five numbers against Unit 5. Whoever cracks each one first scores the same points: 500, 50, 10, 5 or 1 depending on the guess.
Meet the AIs
Unit 5 is the robot you race in You vs AI and the Tournament. It never sees the secret.
It works only from the clues on the board, the same ones you see, and every guess either of you makes helps you both.
It plays to win. It reads every clue, avoids handing you easy ones, and near the end weighs its chances:
sometimes it goes for the answer, sometimes it plays a "waiting" guess of digits already ruled out, so you
learn nothing and have to commit first. In the Tournament it also watches the score: if it is behind with too few numbers left to catch up, it stops waiting and goes for the answer while the points are still big.

Ember and Jade star in Watch mode. They share the same brain and the same strength, so every match is
anyone's: Ember is fast and loud, Jade slow and calm. Watch them race each other, or watch either one take on the Gauntlet.
