Game Modes
Daily Fyvey: One puzzle a day, same for everyone. Come back tomorrow for a new one!
1 Player: You vs. the computer's secret number.
2 Player (vs AI): You and an AI take turns guessing. First to guess wins.
1 Player Gauntlet (£££): An all-or-nothing challenge to win virtual £££. A single failure ends the run, and you lose everything. Complete all 5 to claim your accumulated prize pot!
2P Tournament (vs AI): Compete against the AI over 5 numbers. The first player to guess correctly gets the points for that round.
How the AI plays
The AI doesn't know the secret — it deduces from the shared clues, just like you.
On its very first move it plays a varied probe rather than trying to exploit your opener, because
in a shared-information game narrowing the pool too fast benefits whoever moves next. From move two
onward it combines every clue on the board and plays harder as the clock runs down.
On Hard, late in a round, if the pool has shrunk and the AI still has turns to spare,
it may play a "sacrifice" guess made of digits already ruled out — giving you zero new information.
Easy and Normal skip this move; Easy also runs an older, simpler scorer so newer players can win.
Settings
AI difficulty is selected on the coin-toss screen before each 2-player game. Your choice is remembered.
